Share the Love - and Warmth - This Winter!

Every winter, Meals on Wheels Erie delivers "Blizzard Bags" to all of our meal recipients. These insulated bags are filled with nonperishable foods, toiletries, and small gifts-items that ensure our homebound neighbors have something to eat if severe weather keeps us from delivering.


The bags are useful year-round, too! Recipients can set them out on delivery days when they're away from home, and in the summer, with an ice pack, they'll keep meals fresh until pickup.


This season, during the Subaru Share the Love Event (November 20 - January 2), we're hosting a nonperishable food drive to help fill these Blizzard Bags. Donations can be dropped off at our office (4408 Peach Street, Suite 102, Erie, PA 16509) through January 9, or you can send items directly through our Amazon Wish List.


Together, we can make sure every senior, veteran, and neighbor in need feels cared for and prepared this winter. Thank you for helping us Share the Love!

Millions of seniors are left behind, alone and hungry, and the problem is only growing.

  • The senior population is set to reach 91M in the next decade, with 112M expected by 2061
  • 1 in 2 seniors living alone lack the income to pay for basic needs

Over the last 17 years, Subaru and its retailers have helped the Meals on Wheels network provide more than 5 million meals to seniors in need across the country. 

With every new Subaru purchased or leased, Subaru and its retailers are donating a minimum of $300 to charity, like Meals on Wheels. November 20, 2025 through January 2, 2026
